Saw Mr Chew today at the bus-stop!
He seemed to have aged alot but i guess his 'promotion' to HQ will do him alot good.
Chinese language is dying as the following generation to come will have weaker grasp of the language. Hence, they're termed as 'jiak kantang'.

I've realized that i've lost the 'blogging spirit' recently when i treat my dear blog as a channel for me to release my frustrations.
I'm looking for some time to go to the beach and scream at the sea.
Many things happened lately.
Lost some, gained some. Lost and gained....? You interpret it your own way.
2011 is a touch and go year for me.
This year happened the fastest in my 17 years of existence.
First it's JAE, then it's orientations, then it's lectures and tutorials, then our very first time trials/quizes and lecture test. Not forgetting mid-year examinations then SPA( For the science students) and last but not least, PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS.

JAE. Woke up early that morning to check my mobile - 'You have been posted to _Serangoon Junior College_ under JAE 2011........' *Facepalm*
Feelings? Sad, sian, sigh...
Darren, nic and yanzhao were posted to Meridian.

Orientation. A friend, still not so close then, told me about his predicament. He was posted to a chemical course in a local polytechnic. He was very unhappy.
He wanted to further his studies at a junior college instead. So, he went to several JCs of HIS CHOICE to appeal. Knowing that there were vacancies at SRJC, i urged him to try his luck here. Yes, he got in, by merit. And here he is today, standing tall and mighty as the top few percentile of the 2011 cohort.
So...... Congrats? Are you very very happy now?
Ok now let me continue.
After one year of slogging, i'm just any other average student with a ranking points of 48 out of the maximum possible of 80 rp.
I don't require any sort of thanks or any other sort from that person. I just hope he remember how he even got here in the first place.

Sometimes i feel that i'm super silly. I always think of my friends before me. I'll always try to give them what they want. It's ok if some people out there don't agree. I don't blame them. All i'll say is that they don't know me well enough. I guess this incident taught me to act rationally. Sometimes it doesn't pay to help others cuz they might just be the ones snatching the opportunities and places in the university from you.

Now that they have gotten what they want, feeling contented, while me,nothing.
Nothing at all.
No H3 opportunities, no internship opportunities, no subsidies and stuff cuz i'm just any other average and mediocre student.

Those who might be reading this may say: Blame yourself LA. For being stupid , still want to blame other people~
......But am i not trying hard enough? Am i not doing what i can?
In what way do i not deserve my well-deserved success?

Well, i guess life is just unfair. JiaJuen, stop helping people please. They won't appreciate.
When they're successful, will they stand by you?
Will they lend you a helping hand, help you up and help you start walking again?
I'm sure we all have an answer to that. They'll just be happy and contented with their success and glad that they've beat the shit out of you and that they have the management's praises and attention. That's just life.

Today is the release of the JC1 promotional examination results.
I sincerly congratulate my friends who did well. Job well done!
Hopefully we can still remain as a class.
Been through much this whole year.
Met and saw all kinds of people admist us.
Will continue some friendships through year 2 and will end some friendships at the same time.
There are some friendships i can't cope with cuz it makes me look like a fool from top to bottom.
Good things never happen to me.

What i can promise myself now is to do better next year, on my own. Cuz no one is really there to help you when you need help. They'll fend for themselves only. I've also learnt to wake up and accept the cold hard truth that no one will ever be your 'best friend'. When shit happens, they'll be the first one to run. I'm suggesting that i'll only help those who need help and NOT demand anything in return.
For those who helped me before, whether is it in the past, present, or future, i'll be indebted to you.

I've been troubled these few days partly due to PW and mostly my promo results.
Although i know that i've done what i can, the suspense is seriously killing me.

PW...... is actually good, in the sense that i can see that all the chapters are near completion. I can almost smell the completed WR! Freshly printed from the laser printer eh... While everyone is working hard for their parts, only one person is screwing up. I am speechless and dumbfounded by his incompetence and professionalism. They say that all kinds of people exists out there and i'm guessing he is one of them. But well... there would be one rotten apple out there in a group. Unless it's really lucky to get all nice/hardworking people. But know what, i should count my blessings to have 3 other wonderful teammates who are willing and able to work hard for this group project. I am very very proud of them. At the same time, i am extremely thankful for their support and their active engagement. I predict that these girls will make it out far in life( Given that they already have a 2 year advantage over us boys!). I look forward to finishing the final lap of Project Work with them. It has been a tough yet enriching, for the mind and soul for me.

Promo results. No doubt all the H2 papers have been challenging this year. Hopefully all goes well for me on monday. I'm just afraid that my results will not be up to my expectations. But after this long one year journey, i learnt something very very important. Perseverance, precision, not afraid to clear doubts and critical exam techniques. Very important indeed. Let's see how it goes on monday. I need to promote because i want to learn new things, i want to further enrich myself. Though i know this journey will be tough, but i have an end in mind. My career is awaiting me.

It's almost the end of the third week of the June holidays.
The first week is back to school for reviewing of MYE scripts.
Spent the 2nd and 3rd week learning new stuff as well as revising.
Somehow i'm still unable to overcome the inner fear for physics. Sigh...
I'm still pretty upset over my results because i know i can do much better.

On a lighter note, I've done most of what i'm supposed to do. I'm left with one week to complete the remaining work.
For mathematics, i'm happy that i've pretty much grasp the concepts for a so-called 'tough' topic- functions, by my tutor. Just have to clarify some little things to fixed the loose ends. Going to start on vectors I on my own since my dear sec sch friend from MJC told me it's easy.

I'm not particularly excited for the new term because i know it's gonna be hell. The written report for project work starts to kick in. Chemistry we'll be learning very tough concepts, same for physics. Econs, gp.... and there's CL Oral for A'levels. Fuck that. I guess the only subject i can take a breather for is mathematics.

The results for the SRGCE trip is out and sadly i didn't get into any of them.
Was really really disappointed cos one of my close classmate is going on the trip.
Since we would probably be in different class next year, i thought that the trip would be one of the last chances we can interact.
Sigh... I guess there's always a reason to everything. And i'd just accept the fact that i'm not chosen.
Lessons are so fast-paced. Teachers are feeding us with information as if we are a sponge. Starting to get really stressed out. No joke. I'm living on less than 6 hours of sleep a day and i'm really, really deprived. But im glad for one thing at least... My PI is finally completed.

Sometimes I really envy people who have such wonderful and close friends whom they would meet up regularly and even have their own reunion dinner during CNY.
Probably juz don't have the luck I suppose... Sigh. I thought they said sec sch friends are for life...? No..?
I know this isn't my priority but this gives me hope & comfort.

I'm having mixed feelings now although i know that i've already done all my best.
Oh well...
Work has been an enjoyable and unforgettable experience for me.

Before it all ends, here's wishing everyone out there( my family, friends, colleagues and readers) a very HAPPY AND FANTASTIC 2011!
As we bid goodbye to 2010, we embrace 2011 with hopes and new dreams.
2010 is a very fast year for me due to tests, exams, extra lessons and the big Os!
So fast that I hardly can breathe!
2011 will be a year of uncertainty as we collect our results 10 days from now on...
Those who worked hard should see their fruit of labour!
Meanwhile, I've been working for almost a month. Tiring but satisifying.
Getting my pay cheque soon! So excited.
It's been a tiring journey and I'm turning 17 in 3 days time!

xmas is just around the corner!
Could almost hear the jingling bells ringing!
Work has been rather smooth for me and i'm very pleased with what i'm doing so far.
like mentioned in earlier posts, i'm thankful i've nice colleagues who laugh and jokes who are helpful and caring.
Work is coming to an end very very soon. Around 2-3 more weeks of work and i'm back to being a student again haha.
I've already prepared my gift for my good friend Angus and will be exchanging gifts with him tomorrow(:
Can't wait to find out what he had given me muhahaha (:

It's almost halfway through December...
Working hard at work.
Starting to sense that some of my colleagues are not exactly what they seem.
Some which appear nice are actually... Umm.
Those who are strict with me at first are opening up to me gradually...
Like my supervisor, she's actually a very motherly and nice lady whom is strict with me at first cos I'm not doing well.
Now that I'm okay, she's really nice.
Another female colleague who is also strict with me actually told me some of her personal feelings at work.
Ahh... I'm happy and thankful for those people who bothers about me...
Meanwhile I'll do my best and try to stay out of trouble.
I'm working tomorrow. So I'll be off.

I'm finally employed!
Thanks to Billy's recommendation to apply for Burberry, i'm currently working as a temp full time sales assistant at Burberry!
Worked for 3 official days before leaving for Penang, Malaysia.
Working is really tough. Especially if you have no prior experience.
Hence, this is a totally brand new experience for me!
I still prefer being a student though! Hahaha...
Still at malaysia now. Gonna be back home real soon.

Yesterday was grad night..
In fact, last day for me at MSHS.
I can't believe how fast times flies.
4 years just zoomed past and very soon, all of us are going to embark on a brand new journey...
To be honest, I felt a lil regretful. Regretful for not doing the things I should.
Regretful not being a good friend to my buds.
Regretful for not taking the first step in fostering new friendships.
As I leave, I can't help but missing very single bit of this milestone of my life.
I really wished I had more time with the class.
Wished that I could be an even better student.
All I can do now is to look forward to a new chapter of my life.
I really hope to look back in 10yrs, 30yrs or even 50yrs time, not forgetting my best-est friends Darren, Nicholas, yan zhao, Billy, zhen Wei, Edward, Denzel,Junyi, Benjamin...

I gave it my all but why...? Why are people still getting better grades than me?!

Take cl for example. I was so confident I would bag an A.
Those who don't contribute during lesson time did better than me.

Yes, it's just a damned grade, piece of paper at the end of the day.
Things isn't so simple for me.

I have already decided that I won't be going to the class chalet.
Unless I am persuaded by extremely good reasons to turn up.
Yeah I know... Who am I..? I'm just yet another student of mshs and of 4F'10.
Who bothers whether I turn up or not.
Ppl with still have fun bonding with one another and playing pranks etc...
After 2 years, I still don't feel the connection with the class.
That's really sad. I've missed out the first class outing. And this. Who knows when will we ever see one another ever again... 10yrs? 30 yrs? Or even not in this lifetime until we die.
I'll still have to thank MSHS for providing me with value-added education. I'm really thankful. Other than that, I don't think there's other reason which makes me feel like home.
It's really scary how ppl can change. Someone who's your really close soulmate and just drift apart like nobody's business.
Someone you look upon to can actually be so insensitive and intolerant.
Someone whom you really placed yur heart and soul to help turns around and backstabs you just becos he thinks it's a 'joke'.
This is the kind of class I graduated in.
No doubt, there are still many wonderful ppl out there. Like how I'm thankful to god for bringing me and zw's clique together.
That's the best things that ever happened to me this year.
Our time together is short and very soon we will go on separate ways...
I'm super thankful. Really.
During this examination period, let's all work hard.
I guess I won't play so hard during the holidays afterall.

Today is the start of my Gruelling 3 weeks of O'level examinations.
First paper today is English.
I thought it was okay.
I think there might be a possibility that I might get a distinction for English!
Thank you god. Thank you for giving me strength to complete the paper with confidence.
Tomorrow will be Elementary Mathematics Paper 1.
I'm trying my best not to stress too much. Just take it slow and do my best.
Hope that I'll be able to bag my first three distinctions for this week.

Hi peeps..
3 more days to our big Os!
Feel rather odd, not here, not there...
But I still feel I'm prepared.
Just not as prepared for humanities heh...
Revision is coming along fairly well..., just practicing as much as possible for mathematics and sciences.
These two weeks were fun.
Studied mainly with zw and denz.. This is easily the happiest time of my life...
I'm thankful for them being there for, making studies less boring and dull.
I think all of us will do well, afterall, we've really prepared ourselves. I just need to give it all my best ad own the shit out of the sciences and math papers.
Looking forward to shop, relax and have fun with my best buddies after the Os.
But meanwhile, 110% for all my coming papers.
God, please give me the strength to overcome my weakness and nervousness... I promise to do my very best.

Have been studying quite a lot lately. Very tired at times.
Well, just 12 more days.
What propels me forward are my dreams and goals.

Today is my last official day in Maris Stella High School.
Passed the day with a heart, probably cos I am leaving the school very soon.

Through the tough times, we had to simply bite the bullet and carry on.
When I'm down, I may not have many friends but they so comfort me.
My teachers give me strength.
They watched me make progress day by day.
They see me grow stronger and into a different individual.

Lousy canteen food, long morning assemblies....
All are pieces of memories for me.
Be it good or bad, I'm thankful for everyone, especially my teachers and my buddies.

Today started off with a fantastic mood.
Was pumped in school.
Still felt the andreline pumping inside me when I reach home.
Started marking my temasek and cedar girls Chem paper.
Then did ACS(I) 2008 sec4 prelim2 EM P2. Met with some setbacks and was slightly disappointed. Mensuration questions still fucking me up.
Pratical maths... Probability. Shit. Got a 76% for it in the end.
The 7 starter is starting to piss me off real bad.
Mood turned slightly bad.
Did st. nicks physics paper in the evening. I marked my work strictly and I got 68% for section A and a 65% for section B.
Was supposed to be better given that this was a decent paper.
Physics mock test tomorrow.
I've tried already. For physics especially.
Starting to get real tired since I don't really see much improvement.
I wonder when my efforts will pay off like chem.
I dunno what more can I do to improve.
It's tiring and I'm just complaining.
24 more days only.

My desktop is screwed up uh...
Screen blackout.
Oh well, one less distraction before Os.
Prelim 2 is over, and my L1R5 currently stands at 17 (Assuming my EL is a B4)
Made considerable improvements, especially in chemistry and math.
Although I did not met my expectation,..(Emath A1, Chem A1), In fact I got an A2 for emath and B3 for chemistry.
Humans was a B4 (64%), given that I did not put in much effort for geog...
Overall was okay.
Amath currently stands at 86.9%, my greatest achievement so far.
I would like to commend these people: Darren, Nicholas, Renbin, Richard and Junyi.
Darren, congrats u improved esp for physics and math. Continue to be consistent.
Nicholas, congrats ur chem finally got an A1. Well done.
Renbin, congrats u finally dash past the 80% for combined humans. I'm sure you'll make a good lawyer in the future.
Richard, congrats too, a 3 grade jump for Chem and ur consistency in math.
Jy, congrats, u did well overall. With the same L1R5, I'm hopeful that we'll be able to get our L1R5<10.
